Institute offers Ph. D. programs under its affiliating University, Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon, and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU) Lonere, Dist. Raigad.

Pragmatic Management of the Institute has taken proactive steps to promote faculties to various Universities for higher studies. The faculty not only acquired higher qualifications but also brought back along with them the culture of these premier organizations. SSVPS’ Bapusaheb Shivajirao Deore College of Engineering, Dhule is rich in highly qualified faculty with more than 25% of the regular faculty being doctorates. The Institute has state of the art facilities like equipment and machinery for teaching as well as research / consultancy services. Faculty has contributed in laboratory development, through proposals to various funding agencies like AICTE and University.

Academic Research Programs

These relate to research work undertaken by individual faculty or specific research groups in each department running academic programmes leading to Ph.D. degree. Research is carried out by scholars admitted to the programmes of study by research under the guidance of the faculty in each department. An area of interest for each department is made known to the academic community through website. Topics of interest include the theoretical studies as well as experimental areas to utilize the facilities available in the different laboratories.

Sponsored Research

Organization at the national level sponsor specific programs of research by funding projects undertaken by the faculty. Project proposals are usually prepared by SSVPS faculty and forwarded to various organizations based on the nature of research and the interest shown by university and research bodies to fund new projects.Sponsored projects allow for new resources to be created in a department and often permit staff employed for the project to register for academic degrees in the institute.All Sponsored Research activities in the institute are coordinatedbySSVPSin association withKBCNMU,Jalgaon such as VCRMS- (Vice Chancellor Research Motivation Scheme), Rajiv Gandhi Science and Technology commission- Assistance for Research promotion under the scheme of Govt. of Maharashtra through KBCNMU, Jalgaon etc.

Research Symposium

The Research Symposium is a regular feature of our Ph. D program. The symposium will provide an informal setting for networking and will focus on research presentations by Ph.D. students. It will also provide a forum to learn about ongoing research at other institutions, identify areas for research collaboration and provide a collegial environment to advance research methodology.

From AY 2019-20, as per the directives of University, It will be held twice in a year, Probably Second week of January and July of every academic year.

Objectives of Research Symposium

• To provide the platform for research scholar to present the research work before experts.
• Research Scholar can present their six month research progress as well.
• Doctoral students are encouraged to present their research work to obtain feedback or guidelines from experts and senior faculties.
• Periodical review of the research work of the research scholars- report to be submitted to University.
• Explore, can research work lead to file a patent or convert to product?
